The roster updates throughout the day as new people are booked and others are released from Pima County custody. However, there may be a short delay between what happens at the jail and what shows online. Keep in mind that this shows current inmates only, not people who were released in the past.
If you cannot find someone in the search, they may have been released already. The inmate might also be held at a city jail before transfer to county custody.
Pima County Jail Locations
Pima County operates two detention facilities. The main jail is in Tucson. A smaller facility serves the western part of the county near the border. Most inmates are held at the Tucson location, which has greater capacity and more services available.

The Ajo District Jail is located at 1249 W. Ajo Well Road in Ajo, Arizona 85321. Call 520-387-8511 to reach this facility. It holds a small number of inmates, mostly people arrested in the rural western part of Pima County.
Request Pima County Jail Records
You can get copies of booking records, arrest reports, and other jail documents from the Pima County Sheriff. The process involves submitting a request and paying applicable fees. Some records are available quickly while others take more time to gather and review.

Pima County charges $5.00 for most reports and documents. If a report runs over twenty pages, there is an extra charge of $0.25 per page after that. Photos on CD or DVD cost $5.00 per disc. Printed photos are $0.25 each for 4x6 size and $3.00 for larger 8x10 prints. Clearance letters also cost $5.00 each. If your request takes significant staff time to process, there may be a production fee of $15.00 per hour after the first hour.

Pima County Warrants and Court Records
The sheriff's office does not handle warrant lookups directly. If you think there might be a warrant for your arrest, contact the courts. They maintain warrant records and can tell you the status of any outstanding orders.
